Wishbones- clevis vs heim

I have a 27 T with a coil shock S-10 rear end. Rear wishbones currently have clevis ends that appear to be binding. Is there any reason not to change them to heim joints ? Thanks

No reason not to switch to Heims from clevises. You'd have to bend the 'bone to align the clevises, the Heims will solve the problem if the angularity is within tolerance for the joint. Just don't forget to install a large flat washer on the outside of the heim in case of failure.
