WIW-Early 40's International P/U

Hey guys and gals-came accross something unusual/different today. The guy said he thought it was a '39 but after searching around on here it's at least a '41 International 1/2 ton stepside pick-up. Supppoesd to be from the mid-west somewhere. Body is very, very solid. Needs a windshield and floor work where the box floor meets the headboard. Other than that, you could drop a running gear in it, prime it, throw some wheels on it and make a cool driver. There's a 41 Sedan delivery on e-bay right now all done for 14.5K. So whats this thing woth? Hard to tell without pics I realize-any ideas?

Thats a little hard to say exactly........

A project vehicle price will very depending on what your willing to pay and just how good it really is, how much is dented or rusted or missing. Ck prices in Hemming Motor news to get some idea and you might ask around with people building that kind of rod what they may have paid if they will tell you...LOL I kind of run across mine...nothing in particular in mind so if the price is right and I want ot build it...then I buy it and go from there...being a collector is some kind of disease...not really funny either??

I have a 46 IHC pickup that I restored to the best of my ability...and the first run with it I was offered by the previous owner 30 thousand canadian, and he was gonna write the cheque right there...but that was mainly because of the sentimental value....
in mint condition, they are worth between 20 and 25 can. from what I remember...

Well here is one on ebay, probably quite a bit different, but worth a comparison when it closes.

Yeah-I happened to catch that one-similar only in style really-the one I found is 1/2 ton and has the whole box-nicer shape too. Who knows? Have to see what that one sells for...
