Wix oil filters
 
simple question

Would it hurt my engine if i ran the wix 51060Racing filter????? i do drive it on the street aswell as racing it..

Read the box this filter comes in and then you be the judge, it's your motor.

Gotcha.. im good gonna stick with the regular filter.

If you intend to do frequent oil changes(2000 miles or less) so as to keep built-up wear particles in the oil to a minimum, there is no problem using a race filter. They just aren't intended to use for 10,000 miles change intervals.

The race filter doesn't filter as fine a particles out, as a race engine theory is full volume of slightly dirty oil is better than too little oil because of a restrictive filter.
