Not enough info.
Was this running ok and then acted up?... or Was it running ok, then you did some changes?...or Was it running this way when you got the car?.. Normal tests: Short out each plug when it is running, to find out which ones are not firing. If it is 2 cyls, check the firing order to see if it's wired wrong If it is 2 cyls that use the same intake port on the manifold, check for a bad intake gasket.....of course check the compression on the bad cylinders first if you have a gauge. Give some more info.. |

How is the carb linkage hooked up? Progressive with one carb opening way before the other carb? ...or do both carbs open up exactly at the same time?
Is this motor skipping at idle and higher rpm? If 4 cyls are not firing at idle and high speed, it seems like it would be very difficult to even get it to start. If both carbs open at the same time, I'd have to guess that there is no fuel in the back carb. |
