won't start
I just finished changing over my 54 ford 6cyl to 12 v neg ground. Everything works except that it won't start. It cranks about 50 to 75% faster than it did at 6v, and I expected that. Does the increased cranking speed affect the vacumm advance? The distributor was never removed and it ran as a 6v. It shows no inclination to start, not even with ether. It cranks as if the coil wire wasn't there. Everything that was supposed to be changed in the conversion, was. Thanks Joe
