Woodgrain a good idea?

Hello. i love the look of woodgrain, and ive seen many ads in the back of car magazines that sell plastice simulated woodgrain inserts. or you can send them a piece of your interior, and they can cover it in woodgrain plastic stuff. jus wondering if anyone has tried this or had luck with this. i was thinking it would add a nice, luxury look to an old car if there was woodgrain accents on the dash/door panels.
thanks alot

woodgrain

I dont like fake wood, use the real thing if you want the wood look. Sure its harder to do, and takes more time, but theres to much fake stuff on cars these days.

Yep, I think the last time any U.S. manufacturer made a real car was back in the 70's, it's been downhill ever since.

I'll be using some of this for my Cougar's dash inserts, since I'm making my own gauge cluster... I just want the other to match.
