Glad ya like it!!! yea the fact that you can eliminate swirl's easier is a big plus to me.. and as far as speed.. i'd agree,, I wouldn't say that it is really much faster.. but since you only use one compound and it's easier to clean up when your finished buffing, it might save a little time...

Its very convenient being able to use the same "compound" thru the entire process. I don't really think its alot faster than traditional methods, but it is a quality system that does work. I'll be doing the rest of the car with it.

I'm sure people using foam pads and other products get very similar results, the kit comes with a 32 oz bottle of compound/polish, a very nice wool pad and 2 foam pads, also a super soft applicator sponge and a microfiber towel (they coulda thrown in a couple more of those, they really work nice).

I've had my car painted now for 12 years and I have never had a totally swirl free finish till now, my vote goes for system One.
that kits appears to be identical to Norton's liquid ice and from the sound of things, works the same...i wouldn't doubt they're the same product under different labels....the only diff i see is that the liquid ice is about 40% cheaper

i voted for system one as well, when the product first came to australia i was asked by PPG to buff our 34 coupe with it and display there product at the major car shows, the finish was unbeleivable, after using it for a few years now ive learned to cheat a little, i use farrecla G3 first with the lambs wool then wash the pad and then use the system one, i find the wool pad good for getting in and around body lines i use the very tip of the pad and lightly buff these tight areas, the only bad thing with system one is its hard to hand compound with it, you guys have it good over there i paid $250.00 for the kit and $78.00 for a 1 litre bottle of the compound
