Work almost burned down today!!!

Well, My work almost burned down today. We have, well, had a storage shed outside our restraunt where we kept all of our paper products and extra dishes. When people take their smoke breaks, there is a plastic "terracotta" pot that all the butts go into. Apparently today someone didn't put it out all the way and wound up burning the shed down. Scared the crap out of all the employees and customers. I tried to put the fire out with the hose on the back dock, after I was told not to go outside by my manager. She wasn't happy with me, hehe. The firedept came out and put it out, then realized that the gas main was right next to the shed, and there was a full CO2 cannister in the shed (for soft drinks). They were not happy, and we were lucky. All in all, it was an exciting day at work.

i had a car come in with a charging problem i put a load on the battery and they alternator caught on fire. it was a brand new alternator just installed by chevy. they put the wire on backwards and it was grounding itself on the back of the alternator. (has nothing to do with what you said but it was note worthy) adn the wire wasn't even tightened.
i hate when cars im working on catch fire.

Good job! Some people just sit waiting to get hurt while others at least try to help.

Sorry about that didn't see the date, it came up in a search I was doing.

Other forums I post on lock threads after inactivity.

I lost everything in a fire and my neighbors just stood around while we were sleeping in a burning building. If our smoke alarms didn't go off we would have died.
