Don't feel like a jerk. One day of being really nice doesn't make up for his actions. Maybe he does have a bunch of crap going on in his life that we don't know about but that doesn't give him a license to be an ***, we all have problems in our lives. I remember my mother always telling me that it didn't matter what other people think of you...I hate to say it but she was wrong, everything we do in life is judged by other people, right or wrong that's the way it is and our success or failure in life is determined to a large degree by what other people think. Taking out what ever frustrations he has on co-workers is a a cowardly act and you have every right to be pissed.

Tomorrow is a new day with new challenges, so before you feel bad lets see how long it takes him to go back to his old ways

I know. Basically he got caught in a lie after spouting some intolerant stuff, I called him on it and then the next thing he is saying is that he is black and produces that picture to prove it. I have never used the "ignore" feature on any forum but have now used it on him because he is both way out there and has no issues about misrepresenting himself. I take my share of abuse on this forum because I'm in the minority as to my views, but have zero use for someone like E.Furgal.

My take. Don't let the guy get to you, jobs arent perfect, bosses arent perfect and coworkers arent perfect... its pretty easy to tune out the jerks and just do what you are supposed to. I've watched your videos and it looks like a damn good job to me, I'd love to get paid to do what you do and know what you know. You obviously have alot of talent. I'd be willing to bet that you make that painter feel pretty insecure about himself, hell maybe he's had a really screwed up life... who knows why he is the way he is. From some pics you post, it looks like he knows how to paint.

Be glad you have a great job, I've been unemployed for 5 months and can't buy a job! Thank God my wife is working and I can draw unemployment. You only appreciate how good you have it when it all goes away.
