Worst case scenerio - 350 Power question
Hello. Assuming the block and heads are the worst years for the 350 (70's or 80's), with the worst heads, and assuming there is nothing seriously wrong with the engine, aside from where and tear...
What would the stock engine, with an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold, 650 CFM Carter carb, and long tube headers of a Chevrolet 350 be? Roughly...are we looking 150ish or 220ish or what? Just a general idea would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

re: Worst case scenerio - 350 Power question
the worst 350 I knew of was about 130 hp. Add 5 or so hp for the intake and 15 or so for the headers. Carb wouldn't change anything. So worst case i'd say 150 hp.

re: Worst case scenerio - 350 Power question
yeah it really depends. find out what castings we're talking about. you could get some junker $100 heads and cam from a parts yard and make it atleast a ~200hpish motor
