i would like to know what some of you think of 68 camaro ss with the original 350 that runs perfect but the body needs some work, it needs to be painted and it had a rusted out hole on the drivers side door about the size of a baseball, and on each of the doors when you open them under the door itself theres some rust on each side on what i believe would be the roller panels, but other than that the car is niceand priced at 8,000 so waht do some f you think as far asrepairs might go

Right now these cars are getting harder and harder to find. Someone nearby is asking 3500 Can. for a 68 body and frame. I can't find a decent restorable 69 Cam. anywhere for less than 5000 us. You will never have a shortage of restoration parts so you should factor in the cost of repairs. I'm not sure if you are in the U.S. or Canada. That would make a big difference. If it's U.S. I would check out Ebay and see what you can get for similar $. Look at cars that cost about 5g's more cause you will probably spend that much repairing yours. These cars will always be sellable but you can easily spend a lot of money. Without seeing the car it is hard to say if it is worth it or not. The original motor is a big plus but make sure of that before you pay for it. Run the serial #'s by a Camaro know it all.
