You could build your own long tube, side pipe style headers using the shorties and stuff you already got.
Nothin stopping you from getting creative in the garage. I build a whole custom dual exhaust system for my Firebird including my own custom built unique mufflers, starting with a $30 muffler case.
I think it's the long cold Canadian winters. Its just a bunch of cuting fitting grinding welding cussing and swearing and getting junk in your eyes....LOL
