ok so been having trouble adjusting my tv/cable on my 700 pretty basic adjusting it i think push in the little button slide it back and mash the throttle ok set so the problem this is on my s10 blazer with 305 all angles are right driving down the road i mash it nothing i push some more nothing damn near put the pedal through the floor nothing almost like it just cant reach that spot it needs to get so do i need one of those aftermarket brackets that kinda help u adjust that think my pedal bottoms out before i get to that spot and the cable has no adjustment left has anyone run into this before

Check to see if the throttle pedal is opening the throttle all the way. Get a helper to mat the throttle while you see if you can open the throttle at the carb more. If so, there's the problem.
