damn, i was sitting here on the net, when i hear a whole crap load of police cars coming.
i look out the window and see this dude on a crotch rocket flying down Gus Thomasson (right by my house) doing atleast 150 with about 10 police cars about 200 yards behind him, lol. guess they couldn't keep up.

Our units here and probably there top out at about 120-130. Crown vics are universally used now. Except for a few old caprices still limping around. Can't wait to see the cop spec magnum. Probably will replace our k9s durango and sgts unit.

That seems a little slow. I know at least some of the CHP go quite a bit faster.

On the other hand. the Richmond PD has Crown Vics and the guy escaping in my Mustang ran circles around them! Slowing down so they could mock them and "making rude gestures" . Of course that didn't help when they hit the motor home at 100+. They caught up right quick then.
I'm still irritated they didn't use spike mats! Would have saved me a bundle of work.

The newer Crown Vic's are dogs, they get down the quarter in about 15.9. They don't even have any suspension modifications over the standard model your grand mom drives.
