wrinkle finish paint
Hi guy’s
I decided to use wrinkle paint finish for the interior parts for my project hand built hummer Here a picture of a part I did a test on with duplicolor wrinkle paint (with good success) but I would need almost 20 cans of spay paint to get all the interior parts done, can someone tell me if there is a recipe for wrinkle paint? I was told It might be done with one coat of lacquer paint followed by one coat of enamel What do you think? ![]()

Why mess with mixing your own--you won't save any money & look at all the extra cleanup.Buy the spray --finish each part-- throw the empty away--The paint Co. did all the hard work--enjoy their help. That part looks great by the way.

Here's a tip I picked up from another site, it worked for me.
Spray your part with Duplicolor rattle can bed liner coating. After it dries (dries very quickly) spray the part with the color of your choice. The bed liner coating will add texture to the part. It's not as aggressive as wrinkle paint, but it's much easier to work with. |
