Ok im a staight rookie at doing this stuff this car just been sitting around so im just using my spare time to fix it but on ur pic there wat are the 2 round gaskets used for ?

yes you are right, the tbi gaskets(felpro ms93317) only have a small hole at the end , they are not fully open, this is so the engine gets to ideal temp (94 degrees).
if the open type felpro 90314-1(carb) are put on a tbi engine it will never get hot enough and run rich, there is a temp sensor at front top of block, this tells the tbi to lean up the mix when 94 degrees, if the engine dosnt get this hot it will effect the whole system , map sensor, egr valve, o2 sensor etc etc...it will foul the plugs very quickly
i can tell you this from 1st hand experience.
im no expert but it makes sense the opposite is probably true and tbi gaskets on a carb engine would cause overheating.
