i dont really care about qualifing for smog, i live in MD, you only have one state inspection for as long as you own the car, and i have owned the car for about 8yrs, it was tagged for 6, i have had it in my gargae for about 2yrs now only taking it out from time to time to get the fluids going and to keep the car from rotting, i should be able to get the car re-tagged once done with no inspection, i cant remember how old the car need to be for historic tags or hotrod tag, 20-25yrs not sure which one for maryland
