Yahoo I found a 69 BB, Auto Coup

I will see it next week I will share the Vin# and take a few Pics, The owner says he has owned it for 5 years and has done nothing to it. It ran like a timex watch.

Let says it's a number 3 car what would be a fair price, Numbers matching vs Non-Numbers matching.

well, if the numbers match from the factory, it would be worth considerably more than if some bonehead had restamped the block with what most rodders feel are "forged" as in "WRONG" numbers...... but if you like it. and the price is right, get it man. screw the #'s.

How ramp-it is Block re-stamping and facking other parts to make a car seem original. Why do guys act stupid when selling if you ask them questions such as " is this a numbers matching car, do you have an idea of the history of the car, How long have you owned-it, So what gives here are car-guys that stupid. Oh yaw they all of a sudden smart-up when you give them a low-ball price, then all of a sudden they know the true market value of their cars.

And is this not coming from the same person that re-stamped the big block Vette to sell it to some other sucker as a numbers matching car?
