Thats what I think im going to end up doing, not the exhaust dumps though. Single cat that spreads back out into duals was stock on the trans am. Still like to get others opinions on the dual exhaust thing and what not. But your saying it is possible to go from the headers to single cat?, it seems as if it would be a 90 degree bend from the drivers side header over the the passenger side pipe and another 90 degree bend blended into the other pipe and cat. Would this stock setup help the cat work almost as an H or X pipe set up? I'm not too sure if the scavenger capabilities are able to occur within the cat itself. thanks for the reply firestone.
