Under WOT the 700R4 that's in my 77 C10 shifts in every gear at 4500 RPM. Trans came from a Suburban. Is there any way to get it to shift closer to the 5500 range? Just feels and sounds like its not near the factory redline. Trans has a 2800 RPM stall and the rear end is a 3.73. Any help would be great.
get a governer from a tpi f body with a 5.7 that should get it about 5200 or usxe one from a 2.8 s10 that will get it near 6000
