I have a few... so I will need to win the lottery first. :-)

The first that always comes to mind would be that gorgeous '53-'55 Studebaker coupe! They are still more sleek than the new cars, and dominated the Salt flats for years. I would probably go with big block Chevy power. Ohhhh yeah! I am a custom painter, so it would be pretty aggressive looking!

The next would be a late thirties woody driver. Probably a '37 Chevy which was always a "fave" for me. It would be an upscale street rod. Power... SBC!

Then comes the second tier, including things like a '60s-style flower power van... another '57 Vette in a long string of them... a 426 Hemi car of some sort... like maybe a '68 Hemi Barracuda... etc. etc.

Hey! It doesn't cost anything to dream. :-)~

65 Mustang fastback in salsa red. Can't think of the name of the rims but the middle is flatish grey and outer aluminum. Common on those cars. Slightly lowered w/ low profile tires but not ghetto low profile. Tan interior.

Split bumper Camaro in lambo orange w/ tan interior.

67 Cougar solid red w/ white interior.

Always have the list of the next project handy, and a little space to hide it. Never know when I'm going to run into a good core.

Mmmmm.......
1970 Boss Mustang, full modern road race suspension, 17" magnum 500's
Using the boss color scheme only in reverse, car in satin black with boss striping done in sunset orange.
Very built LQ4 with twins, T56, then head to TX2K14 next year to beat up on exotic's and crotch rockets at night.

1950 merc....heavy chop, set down on a caprice chassis with bags, Wide whites, fiesta caps,
Stock dash and rebuilt stock guages, big tunes but hidden from view, all the power options from the caprice hooked up and working. Steering, brakes, AC etc.
Flat black with louvered hood and trunk, scallops done in heavy metal flake green.

Tri 5 Chevy, Gasser style, hilborn injection with velocity stacks on a big inch BBC, muncie 4gear, fender exit headers, painted white of course, naked interior, 2 buckets, a dash and period correct guages, 4 point roll bar only. Good old halibrands done in anodized gold, car would be candy green with the name "born angry" done in white ribbon style lettering. Lots of sponser stickers in the right places. Car would get driven lots.

There lots and lots more, but that's the top 3....I should be rich lol

I had the 49 Merc and really did enjoy it.

I would really love for the '53 BelAir convertible I am building to be a '53-54 Mercury convertible....Rust and all

And therein lies the problem. I am not "passionately in love with" any specific car. Closest would be if I could I get my '67 Cougar back (should never have sold it back in '76)

Other than that, there a "many" that I like - and I have quite a few of 'em now, but I cannot get passionate about any of 'em

If I had to pick one car and that was it, tip-top dream car above all else... It would be *without a shadow of a doubt* a bone-stock 1969 COPO 427 Chevelle.
