Why do you have (hemi) beside the 429? Only the Boss had the semi-hemi heads. What about the CJ, SCJ and TJ 429s?

Gotta go with the 429 (mine's a '68 out of a Thunderbird) because that's whats in my Bronco.

Race: 347 Stroker, with a little sniff of nitrous.

Street rod cruising: Flathead

My favorite Ford engine would have to be a 390 followed by a 302 as a close second.

since neither the 427 nor the 427 SOHC were listed as options, i chose the 390.

Coolest motor I ever worked on was a 392 hemi in a 57 chrysler 300C. Got to work on a 413 in a 61 300 (g?) too, that was pretty cool. Never really been impressed with ford items, don't have a standardized pattern for choosing which spark plug is which, always did the crazy front sump thing, and those M block motors were pigs. I guess I've always been a mopar guy. If I had to pick one though, probably the 428 boss (it was a boss right?)
