zoomie style exhaust question?? wild idea!!

Been rethinkin my exhaust on my rat rod.

I may go with some zoomies. Im thinkin maybe get a set of header flanges and some 1 3/4 to 2 inch pipe and makin a set.
Is flanges the way to go or could i easier cut my shorty headers and leave about an inch or so pipe on the end and work off that? Wats the best way " expense and soundproofing" wise to quiet it down?
Heres the kicker....id like to put exhaust rain caps on the tip of each one! I like the nutty wild clankety whole idea. Feesible? Doable? Let me know yer thoughts. RR

I was built with the body of a God! To bad it was buddah.

first, i've never stood by a zoomie for very long.. too loud for me. as u said u have a rat rod, so i'll assume any way u build the headers will be ok for that style.. just keep in mind the car next to u.. a buddy of mine had zoomies and i'd NEVER sit next to him when running.. they do look nice..
