For $40 , a bunch of time/work and gaskets you can find out for yourself.

They say you learn best from your mistakes.

Too much overlap. likely idle and drivability problems without tuning modifications
etc which you won;t do even if you knew how to.
a real dog with stock converter a stock gears (2.561 and a heavy car and a stock 305.
