You can build a very good high perf 305 HO around this ZZ4 cam.
Look at the ZZ4 350 crate motors specs for inspiration.
10:1 compression high flow aluminum heads with unrestricted ports , high flow intake 750carb
high flow exhaust (headers)
2500+stall 3.73+gears. 2500-5700rpm. 355HP lots of torque in the mid range.
The smaller cid 305 will want even more stall and gears as rpm range will be higher than on the 350.
engine compression ratio is critical. rougher idle with less idle manifold vacuum than in a 350.
shaved down L-31 "062" vortec heads work real good on 305's (10:1+cr) with that ZZ4 cam 3000 stall (monte carlo SS converter) and 4.10's. th700r4
large BBC TBI throttle body on a rpm style vortec intake, headers custom EFI tune.
or with the Chevy Ramjet EFI system.
That would be cool , go like hell and be something to look at under the hood at a car show.
