zz572/620

Hi,

Anyone heard of any reviews regarding GMPP's 572 Crate engine? I know their a bit pricey, I've seen 10 - 13K based on the config that you order. But does anyone know of someone that has purchased one of these and installed it? I would be interested in their comments.

I have a 71 Chevelle SS and currently have a zz502/502 running in it. I am considering selling the 502 in favor of the 572.

Any thoughts??

I believe Jay Leno likes the one installed in his Buick. Pretty powerful and bulletproof from what I've heard.

There are two versions of the 572, - 620 hp with 9.6 - 1 compression ratio and 720 hp with 12 - 1 compression.

Check it out here and watch the 572 on the dyno.
