Description: How to replace older flexalator seat springs with 9 gauge sinuous wire springs. Details on cutting and de-arcing the springs, D-ending the springs, attaching the springs to a border wire, attaching helical springs to the border wire, pulling the springs to the built-in clips, connecting the springs with paper-covered tie wire, and putting a deck pad over the whole assembly. Also includes information on repairing different types of wire and springs (border wire, "kicker" spring, and 8 gauge spring), stiffening up seat assemblies with tie wires or helical springs, and using spring repair connectors.
