Part 4: Starting on the Rear End

This is what it looks like with the front clip welded in place.

You could box in the frame to the front of the newer clip but I decided to weld in this plate to help it look a little more finished and cleaner.

That's as far as I got before winter sets in. Here it sits all lonely in the snow waiting for spring. Got it in September 2001 -- it's now February 2003.

IT'S SPRING! And I can't wait to get started, so let's begin. Next, I decide to clean up the rear end and rust encapsulate it. Then I paint it chassis black. I'm using products from Eastwood for this part of the project.

Time to take out the old rear end and get ready to install the newer one.
