Part 8: Cooling System
trees
I am replacing the old modified '36 truck radiator with a monster Griffin unit. Here I am checking how much clearance was gained from all the previous work. It looked as if I could avoid an electric fan and go with a good reverse flex fan. Unfortunately, the smallest diameter available was going to hit the lower radiator hose and still have marginal radiator/fan clearance. (Griffin had built the radiator with the extra cores to the front, giving me the best shot). Electric fan here we come. You can clearly see the 3 louvers installed in the inner fender panel.

This is a good view of the Vintage Air Front Runner system with the reverse rotating flex fan I tried to work in. Also good view of the Sanderson cast headers.
