Part 8: Front Sheet Metal
zonk
I set on the '46 clip to get an idea of where to trim the inner sheet metal. I will make some angle brackets right where the old radiator support is to the frame, with slots milled in to allow adjustment up and down and sideways later on. I have around 18-19 inches wide on the inside of the steering box and around 24-26 inches tall for the radiator; I will use aluminum. Also, there's around 5 inches of clearance from the water pump (long pump). Later on, I will use the '47 clip and '47 grille. I got some ideas on how to form the inner sheet metal around and to the frame.
