Part 3: Rearend and Brakes

I also did my own fabrication for the 9 inch Ford rearend. I narrowed it to 44" flange to flange and did all the bracing and bracket fabrication. No need to pay for what you can do yourself, right? This rearend also has a '78 Lincoln disk brake setup which I stole at a swap meet at $125 for the whole rearend.




In the next picture you can see the aluminum pinion support and the disk brakes tucked up in the wheels.
