Part 8: Dash
1950bulletnose
The dash was split through the middle from left to right and widened 4". The speedometer and speaker holes were filled and I'll cut the holes for the air conditioner vents and VDO gauges soon.

I picked up a set of electric black all leather buckets and rear seat from a 1999 Toyota Camry with center console. Holes were cut for the VDO gauges and I'm working on an aluminum panel to enhance the look of the dash.

In the pics below, the aluminum panel is finished and I've mounted the gauges to see how they fit. The black gauge in the middle is the blower PSI gauge. I also drilled a hole for the headlight switch.

I cut a hole for the Vintage Air controller between the glove box and the gauges. I cut another hole directly below that for a louvered air vent. I still have two air louvers to mount on either end of dash.
