Question 60 chev suspention swap

I started off frame resto on 60 chev short box 1/2 ton droppin in 350/400 motor tranny I need to upgrade front susp. will some early 80,s front susp bolt right in with little fabracation I need to keep the 6 bolt rims what year can give me the right geometry disc brakes. do not want to use mastang II front end the 60 to 63 have torsion bars but the lower A frame looks cheezy the way the ball joint bolts on with U bolts can anyone help thanks
