I have a 54 it is stock. I want a good IFS. I have looked at fatman and heights. Hartrods has a TCI kit that has everything I want for 1499. needless to say that is a pretty good price for tubular a arms and 11in brakes. I was wondering if anyone else has this kit? was it easy does it work well? how does it look? any pics? and finally is there a better front i could use? thanks

Good price. Yes i have used them and think there stuff is very good.As allways i will state that i do not like nor will i use the fat stuff.TCI is a very good unit(as is heidts and progressive).Have installed many and no complaints. I will say this ,if its your first IFS tack everything and then put the sheet metal on and look at it.The directions on these kits are not always perfect. Also i recommend that you have a good frontend guy put the gauges on it before its all welded in.DO NOT USE FACTORY stangII specs.Try for at least 6-8 degrees castor on the stangII with power rack.manual at least 4. I also will not install the springs till last.Just tack weld a peice of steel from the lower a-frame to the frame at level.Now you know were everything belongs when it is done.You fit the springs(yep cut them,with a die cutter ) last to get ride height. Well I bought the TCI kit! Hope it installs good thanks for the help! I also went ahead and got the air bags. I really hope that was a good Idea!
