Post camaro sub/disc conversion

Hi out there.

Looking for a solution. I am building a 48 chev delivery that came with the early camaro (67-69 rear steer vintage) sub under it. Unfortunately they used a drum brake care for the sub. I'm looking for a junkyard conversion. Obviously camaro/firebird/nova will work from the early years, but how bout later models (second gen stuff). Other thoughts? Will conversion using stock splindles etc from another car make the clip wider or keep it the same (that's a problem I have with the high dollar conversions).

thanks for your input.

matt

Post re: camaro sub/disc conversion

The second generation F body parts might be different but all of the B.O.P. stuff up to 1975 I believe should bolt up, If it resembles a Nova, even the little Cadillacs should be the same if you use the disc brake spindles, and I don’t think the width would change.
