Post disc brakes for ford 9 inch

i have a ford 9 inch and the question i have is will a lincoln 9 inch with disk brackes will the brackets/rotors/etc will it bolt up to my rear end

It all depends on the year and the vehicle in which you are puting it into. I did a rear disk brake conversion on my '67 mustang fastback. I used the housing out of a galaxy, and strange axles.

lluv2run-thanks alot for getting back with me..the rearend i have is a ford 9inch thats in a 56 ford f-100 pickup. i wrote down the years and cant find the paper i wrote them on .for some reason im thinking 78 to 84????? thats my guess.... if it will work its going to save me alot of money.. i hope this information may help thanks alot beedog69

I am doing a disc conversion on a small bearing housing and have found that a 95 to 01 explorer rear disc bolts on.The bolt pattern on the rotors are 4 1/2 on 5. Check out the thread at streetrod stuff roundtable.

Go to the local ford dealership and get the rear disc set up for a 97 Explorer I think it P/N m-2300-g I payed $379. for mine and all you have to do is make a spacer. Thats if you have the big bearing
