Post streetrod power rack

as i said once before i had installed a mustang II front end kit from fatman in my 36 ford coupe that's still just a frame, running engine, tranny and complete rear end. it's been in for 3-4 months and it started to leak fluid from the metal lines. i called them and they sent me a new one which i installed. my problem is when i screw the tie rod ends on all the way i can't get enough to get the car toed staight. should i cut the threaded ends of the power rack off an inch or so on either end??? i hate to call fatman again i've had so many problems with their stuff i know they figure it'e me

Boy it seems like we had this once or twice before. The only thing about cutting them is there goes your warranty. I would makre them send the right stuff. That is if they know what that is. ROY
