I was wondering since Dodge street rod parts are not so avalible as the chevy and ford if an 85 camaro sub frame/susp. would work in a 1946 Dodge truck? Are there any other options?

It's going to be to wide. Hieghts makes a nice piece they can hook you up. I like there stuff.

dodge trucks have not been popular hot rod materal.
so the folks selling performance products don't do much about it.

no bucks in it for them.

but bet ya that you could get a humm say a mustang 2 subframe kit that would fit your frame width and less hassel then installing a subframe out of a car.

the wheel track has to be real close to your stock dodge pickup or the wheels will stick out to far and narrowing a clip causes a whole bunch of alingment problems.

I am not a fan of sub framing. I put a 75 Elco frame under a 55 Chev truck w/ a 455 Olds. Everything fit beautifully. I also but a 72 Olds frame under a 56 Chev Panel truck. My buddy has an 84 Chev truck frame under his 54 Chev truck. Get you a good tape measure and some good readings and off to the junk yard you go!
