Post IFS for model a

I need advise on how to install a front end using OEM Mustang II upper and lower control arms and maintain a level stance and full fenders, On a 1931 Ford.

Don't seem to be getting any action on this so I will throw in a couple of cents. I have seen magazine articles on this installation and it can be done. One problem with this body style is that you will need to put a couple of fairly large bubbles in the front fenders to clear the upper A-arms, especially if you want it in the weeds. I personally don't like the look but then there isn't much about Fords that I do like! I'm sure the aftermarket MII x-member suppliers have directions on how to make the installation. Probably can do a Yahoo search and find a web page that shows how also.

I installed a Heits universal Must II in my 31.
For upper control arm clearance I made a bubble the starts at the rear of the fender & comes to the front. At the front I did not pull the bubble in to meet the fender but, left about 1 1/2" between the bubble & the fender. In that area I made turn signals that are shape like half a banana. It is hard to tell there is a bubble there & it actually improves the looks. Will send you a picture over E-mail if interested......Don
