Hello, I just purchased a 1976 mustang II cobra front end because I was told it will bolt up with minor difficulty for ims. I own a 1953 chevy 3600 3/4 ton. This is a project my son and I have taken on and it is going well so far. Will I need a kit crossmember? Has anyone done this or could anyone be of some help?
Thanks- Mario |

I used a Heidt's crossmember and stock parts except for brakes in my 50 panel. There have been threads showing how to install both stock crossmembers and after mkt. Check some of the older posts. I think you can find answers to most of your questions.

Stock x-member will go in just fine. I have a couple of tech articles I can send to you on how to do the job if you send me your email address.
