I would like to know where I can find a disc brake kit for a jaguar rear end that mounts on the rear of the rear end housing

Thanks for your reply, but I need a brake kit that mounts on the rear of the rear end, not the front. I have no idea what year model it is.
Thank's Larry [ October 16, 2002: Message edited by: Larry Tyner ]</p> |

Speaking of which, I was wondering how hard those Jag rearends are to change the pads on. I was looking at them and thinking that it would be a real female dog to change if you didn't have a lift. Or am I missing something?

if you mount the rearend with a fabricated crossmember and throw the junk oem stamped and heavy thing away it ano big deal. and if you can then install an access cover in the floor of the car, you can just remove the rear seat and do in the comfort of your car.. :-)
with regards to mounting the calipers to the rear, a mach 10 rear end has the calipers mounted rearwards. but the e-brake calipers are still in the same, top mounted position so i think you should go for the access cocer instear of dinking around relocating the calopers my 2cents worth, hope it helps:-) |
