has any one done or had any exp with doing a disc disc conversion i had disc drum on my 67 stang and i used a master cyl off a mark vii and i dont know how hard the pedal should be i have bleed the brakes several times also i am running big chevy calipers in the rear and small chevy calipers in the front i also have a porp valve any help guys thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brake pedal should be solid and with little pedal travel without the engine running, when runing the pedal should fall away as the servo works.

what would keep the pedal from getting hard i dont have a booster do i need one ? i bled them several times

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? You may still have some air trapped some where in the system. Bench bleeding is important to do, saves lots of hassles and agravation.

I use an old master cylinder cover with a valve stem weled the the top. Just put a little air pressure, say about 3 pounds and let the air force fresh fluid through the system.

I have come to relalize i think it the pads and yes i built my own pressure bleeder out of a garden sprayer and an extra top i think the pads i was using were worn at an angle and that caused the soft pedal thanks guys.
