Hi all,
I did this swap on my 65 Impala SS. You don't need the tie rod stuff, the existing fits. Just replace what is bad. You need the master cylinder and metering valve and the left front hard brake line from the donor car. The rear line will fit with one of the brake line flair nut adapter that all the parts houses have. You will also have to go to 15" wheels to clear the discs. Mine sures stops nice now. 67 and 68 will work also, but they are the 4 piston disk brakes and parts are tough to find and I don't think they work as well as the floating calipers. Hope this helps Doug |
