Post re: granada spindles on Mustang II IFS ???

Deuce - I'm not much help on the Granada-Mustang spindle idea, sorry. One car I know the Granada spindles will fit is a 58 Square Bird. We just finished up with the disc brake conversion on my Buddy Steve's hardtop. Resizing the tapers IS nesessary however...

Yes, you can adapt the GRANADA spindle to the MUST II suspension. I am not really sure about the ball joint/tie rod taper, but it is not that difficult to have resized. You can then use a TAURUS rack (rear steer) to complete it. Please tell me that now that you have not tricked me that it isn't stovebolt powered... <img src="graemlins/pain.gif" border="0" alt="[pain]" />

Post re: granada spindles on Mustang II IFS ???

i am sorry to say that since my 351 cleveland wouldnt fit the frame and steering the only other engine i had left over was a 454 i built for my dads impala,

We decided that he sold the 66 impala SS, and bought my 5.0L powered 65 mustang, that way i got the money and the engine i needed to build my hot rod.

If i were to stumble upon a sohc 427 ford the chevy would disappear from the shop. but not being made of money i have to make due...
