1941 Willys Coupe

This is a 1941 Willys coupe with a fiberglass body, and an amazing paint job. The base color, as well as the custom black cherry flames, come from House of Kolor's Kameleon Colors© line, which change color from black to cherry depending on the angle of view.

This 426 hemi is bored .020 over, and has an 11.5 :1 compression ratio with dual carbs. Not bad considering that the original 1941 engine sported a 4-cylinder engine churning out a measly 63 horses.
The smooth, almost cartoonish looking lines of the Willys persisted from the 1937 model until WWII, shortly before the company that John North Willys originated started manufacturing four-wheel drive vehicles.
