1949 Suburban Hot Rod
This is a 1949 Suburban, owned by John Flanigan. With the exception of the custom-bent exhaust, John did this entire project himself.

The LT1 engine, auto transmission, and disc brake rear end came from a '95 Chevrolet police car.

The steering column also came from the Chevy police car, with the interior seats coming out of a 2001 Windstar. AC and power windows are included.

This Suburban rides on the original frame, with a Heidt's Mustang II front suspension and Chassis Engineering rear springs.
