1939 Ford

This is a Purple Pearl 1939 Ford, owned by Mike and Lynn Carbaugh. The body is by Coast to Coast, with a Coast to Coast tube chassis, and American Torque Thrust wheels, with four wheel disc brakes.


This 350 LT1 Corvette engine is nicely coordinated with the body color.


The interior is finished in bone leather, with Vintage air and heat components.

After the 1939 model year, the Ford would undergo body restyling that toned down the sharply V-shaped grille that makes the 1939 model a favorite of street rodders. The sharp lines of the grille of the '39, combined with the smooth appearance of the body, make for a very attractive overall vehicle, both now and then.
