The year 1934 holds an interesting little tidbit of history for Plymouth. In 1934, the one-millionth Plymouth was built, and it was driven off the assembly line by Walter P. Chrysler himself. Guess who got to buy that car? A Mrs. Ethel Miller of Turlock, California, the exact same woman who had purchased the first Plymouth ever made in 1928. Talk about loyalty! Chrysler allowed her to trade her car in on the purchase of the one-millionth 1934 Plymouth, and her old '28 was later put on display at the Chicago World's Fair.Search thousands of hot rod sites.
