1948 Plymouth

This is a 1948 Plymouth P-15 Coupe owned by Jess Jordan of Houston, TX.


This rod is all Mopar. That's a 383 Chrysler equipped with Crane, Hedman, and Holley parts. Being a daily driver, the tranny is a 727, and the rear gear ratio is 2.76:1.


This interior is well restored to its original look, with a banjo steering wheel and the A/C hidden under the dash for retaining that classic look, while keeping cool.

With that Chrysler engine and a high-geared rear end, this Plymouth probably has quite a bit of high-end power. That's a far cry from the original '48 Plymouth, which, believe it or not, was available with an economy package that included a throttle stop that limited the top speed to just 45 mph!
