This is a 1941 Chevy Coupe, owned by Bill Whittaker of Beavercreek, OH. It is finished in 1999 Chrysler Dark Silver Metallic with DuPont Chromalusion flames.

Here you can see the Chevy 454, bored .030 over to 461 cubic inches, with Keith Black pistons, a Comp Cam, Crane pushrods, springs, and keepers, and an Edelbrock manifold with twin Carter 625's, plus a Mallory distributor and ceramic coated block hugger headers. Power goes to a TCI Turbo 400 tranny.

This interior features Toyota bucket seats, and an owner-built custom fiberglass dash with Cyberdyne digital gauges.

Here's how this '41 started off. It came to the owner from a museum in South Dakota, where it was a parts car used for museum restorations. It had no engine, trans, or interior, and there were several missing parts. Most of the work on this rod was done by the owner over a period of six years.
